3 STUDENTS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS.

WOODLAND HILLS - Three recent high school graduates received Scudder-Singleton Scholarship Grants for academic excellence and extracurricular achievements.

The scholarships were offered to the children of Daily News employees who are financing their children's college or vocational education. Each student was awarded $500, which can be applied to tuition, books, housing or other learning materials.

Patrick Emerson, a graduate of the Westmark School in Encino, is the son of Robyn Emerson, assistant credit manager at the Daily News.

Alfred Kaye graduated from Taft High School in Woodland Hills. He is the son of Ron Kaye, managing editor of the Daily News.
