3 SOUGHT IN HOME-INVASION ROBBERY OF SIMI PAIR.

Police were searching Tuesday Tuesday: see week.  for three men suspected of a home-invasion robbery of a Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  man and woman, officials said.

The robbery happened about 10 p.m. Monday in the Creekside apartment complex in the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue, Sgt. Bob Gardner said Tuesday.

The couple in the apartment answered a knock at the door and were confronted by three men wearing ski masks who pointed handguns at them and forced their way into apartment, Gardner said.

``They asked for a wallet See digital wallet. . and one of the victims took the money out of a wallet and gave it to them,'' Gardner said. ``They were robbed at gunpoint.''

During the three-minute confrontation, no injuries were reported and no shots were fired, Gardner said. After getting about $150, the suspects fled in a compact car.

Police have not ruled out the possibility that the suspects deliberately targeted the victims' apartment, Gardner said.

``It's safe to say that it probably wasn't random,'' he said.

This was the second home-invasion incident in Simi Valley in less than two months.

The suspects forced Jean Lafontaine to lie on the dining room floor during the robbery, police said.
