``This was very difficult,'' said Debra Farar, a CSU trustee who sits on the selection committee that narrowed the field from 60 candidates. ``This was one of the best pools we ever had.'' The three candidates will visit the Camarillo campus next week and meet with CSU trustees. ``We were looking for a high level of education and energy and certain leadership qualities,'' Farar said. ``We're anxious to go forward.''
