We often think just because we have our site up and running we will instantly get loads of traffic! This is a far cry from the truth! What we need to realize is traffic takes work! Though work is definitely a drag...it can improve your website tremendously! While I am sure some of you seasoned veterans are already aware of what a little extra effort can do...let me school a few of the newbies.

Tip 1: Remember time: the more time you spend on your site...the more people will take notice. A quick site thrown together is not enough...you should spend time tweaking it and making it unique. Looking over the competitions sites and seeing what it is they are doing you are not...will give you ideas to improve on your own!

Tip 2: Research: We all like to think we are the best in our fields! The truth is we all could stand to learn a thing or two. The more we take in better we become. Knowledge is power!

Tip 3: Design what catches your eye: If your site isn't amazing to you...what makes you think others will go to it? Use your self as a guinea pig! If it is something you would spend time on then chances are someone else will too. Changing content frequently will have others coming back!
