Headquartered in Milan, 3 Italy deployed the first 3rd Generation (3G) Mobile Telephone Network utilizing UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) The GSM implementation of the 3G wireless phone system. The NIC products provide bit-error rate testing and protocol analysis of SONET, SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) The European counterpart to SONET. See SONET.
