3,128-acre Fremont County Ranch to Sell in J.P. King Auction.

DUBOIS, Wyo. -- Wind River Land and Cattle Company, a sprawling ranch that includes three riverfront homes, a log cabin, and more than six miles of frontage on the Wind River, is about to be sold at auction.

The property, anchored by a luxury home with its own indoor pool, tennis court and theater, will sell at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, with J.P. King Auction Company managing the sale.

With approximately six miles along the Wind River, the ranch is expected to draw the interest of developers as well as ranchers, according to Craig King, president of J.P. King.

"With this much beautiful land on the Wind River, the potential for development is enormous," said King. But the ranch also is capable of supporting up to 600 pair of cattle, he said.

The fully furnished main house, which will sell on a parcel of approximately 557 acres, features a sunken living room, a high-definition movie theater, and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. The property also has a hot tub, a sauna, a pond, an additional four-bedroom riverfront home, a newly built log guest cabin, and equestrian facilities including l0 horse stalls.

The sale will include two additional parcels -- approximately 971 acres with a home, and approximately 1,600 acres of fenced grazing land near Crowheart Butte.
