2Roam, a leading global wireless software and service provider, today announced the addition of Richard Manso to the company's management team. Manso will serve as general counsel, responsible for overseeing 2Roam's commercial and financing transactions, protecting the company's intellectual property portfolio and assuring that corporate policies are in compliance with applicable law.

Manso joins 2Roam from private practice, where he represented 2Roam in transactions with Best Western, Forbes, Matsushita Electric Industrial (Panasonic), National Airlines and the National Cancer Institute. His practice also represented industry leaders Sony Corporation (NYSE:SNE) and Tellme Networks. Previously he served as Associate General Counsel at VeriFone, Inc., where he was responsible for the company's software transactions and intellectual property portfolio. Manso was also Senior Counsel for the Legal and Intellectual Property Division at Sony, based in Tokyo, Japan.
