2ND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN LANCASTER SLAYING.

A second suspect has been arrested in the death of a Lancaster man who was kidnapped, shot to death and dumped in a field.

Dale Leroy Weidner, 18, wanted in the Oct. 31 death of 26-year-old Roger Arciga, was taken into custody last week in Van Nuys by the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County Sheriff's Department's fugitive apprehension team, which spent three days watching an apartment in the 14200 block of Victory Boulevard Victory Boulevard is a major thoroughfare on Staten Island, measuring approximately 8.0 miles (12.87 km) and stretching from the west shore community of Travis to the upper east shore communities of St. George and Tompkinsville. .

``We had information that he was hiding out in a Van Nuys apartment,'' said Detective Mark Lillienfeld. ``We were waiting for him to show.''

Weidner, who had lived in the Lancaster area, is one of three men wanted in the death of Arciga, who was kidnapped from an acquaintance's home in the 43300 block of Echard ec·hard

Weidner is being held without bail on suspicion of murder.

Omar Torres Solorzano was arrested Nov. 20 following a high-speed chase that began in Lancaster and ended with a crash in Acton.

Solorzano, 20, of Lancaster suffered a broken arm in the crash at Sierra Highway and Crown Valley Road.

``We believe he is still in the Antelope Valley area,'' Lillienfeld said.
