The Second Edition 2Market CD-ROM contains thousands of top-quality merchandise items from leading vendors, which will be supplemented frequently by new product updates from a direct online connection on America Online See AOL.  (AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services. ). "2Market Live" activates products and promotional updates to either the CD-ROM's "New Product" or "Shopping News" areas.

How "2Market Live" Works

At the touch of a button, customers receive updates that are automatically downloaded through a seamless connection sequence from an AOL host server. The "2Market Live" update capability allows 2Market and its participants to offer new products, specially priced items and event-based shopping, such as Father's Day or graduation Graduation is the action of receiving or conferring an academic degree or the associated ceremony. The date of event is often called degree day. The event itself is also called commencement, convocation or invocation. . By combining the integration of multimedia and online content, 2Market offers a uniquely dynamic, fresh home-shopping experience, even after the CD ships.

"2Market continues to stay a long leap ahead of anyone else in the interactive shopping industry," said Ted Leonsis, chief executive officer of 2Market and president of America Online Services Company. "The strides made in real-time merchandising in this new edition continue to provide consumers with more choices, more information and more power to make their shopping decisions." -0-

Additional highlights of the 2Market service include the following features:

- Every week, customers can go into the "Product of the Week" area and see 2Market's special product picks. Products accumulate during the life of the CD-ROM, so that customers can review previous suggestions.

- The 2Market video "guide" appears in many places throughout the CD-ROM. And, based on time and use, the guide's script changes to direct customers to new offers or special promotions -- online or on the CD.

- The "Gift Shopping" area features a great new "Gift Idea" section, with products culled from all the merchants on the CD-ROM by on-staff gift experts. These special selections are organized in categories to make the gift shopping experience quick and convenient. Using "Find a Gift," a customer enters parameters (age, gender, interests, price range) and is presented with a series of suggestions, and "Gift Reminder" keeps track of special events and occasions.

- A significant emphasis was placed on making the order process easy. The Second Edition 2Market CD-ROM provides a live "How to Order" button on every screen. This feature was created to provide consumers with additional assistance in creating an "Order List" from anywhere in 2Market. Then, using one order form, a customer can order in one of three ways: by phone, fax or modem. Electronic orders are placed, in an instant, from the CD-ROM via modem or from the 2Market area on America Online. -0-

Additionally, there is a special selection of 2Market products and services in the Marketplace channel on America Online that are always changing. This section features appearances by merchants, experts and celebrities who can assist 2Market buyers. Customers can also order the Second Edition of the 2Market CD-ROM online from within this section.
