2AB, Inc. Acquires CORBA Technology Product Suite.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 2001

2AB, Inc. announced today it has acquired the Injoin Broker CORBA(R) product family from Critical Path, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPTH), a global leader in messaging and directory infrastructure. 2AB will market the software as orb2(TM). Injoin(TM) Broker was previously marketed by PeerLogic as Live Content Broker(TM). The technology is mature and is in use in major telecommunications and financial institutions around the world. "The acquisition of CORBA technology further enhances 2AB's position as a provider of secure solutions for distributed business and highlights our commitment to OMG technologies as a solid foundation for systems integration," stated Mitchel Sanders, 2AB CTO. 2AB has extensive experience in CORBA technology both in the development of custom solutions and in their current CORBA security products, iLock(TM) and orbLock(TM). The orb2 technology is available for Java, C, C++ and Eiffel with platform support for WindowsNT/2000, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, OpenVMS and VOS.
