Twenty-five percent of working lives is now spent managing email, and it's only going to get worse, according to according to

This accounts for two hours every day, or twenty Five percent of our working life. However, on average we receive twice as much as we send. Seventy percent of email users surveyed say their email volumes have increased 50-100 per cent since last year, and analysts believe the current trend of increased volumes will continue. But its not just the volume of EMails that's increasing. The size of the attachments are getting bigger as well. The KVS report found that attachments vary from 1 kilobyte (thousand bytes).
