24Seven - TV review: Airport couple face kidney operation drama.


THE hustle and bustle of Luton Airport seems a long way away for airport manager Alan Derbyshire, who is having a kidney transplant kidney transplant
 or renal transplant

Replacement of a diseased or damaged kidney with one from a living relative or a legally dead donor. The former's tissue type is more likely to match, reducing the chance of rejection; but removal puts the donor at risk,
 operation.

The donor is someone very close to his heart - wife Gill.

Airline follows the couple on their big day as they go into theatre and at home after the surgery. Streiff Egidius, a classical musician, is travelling home to Zurich with his prize possession, a rare viola worth pounds 150,000. He is devastated when supervisor, Leo Jones, informs him that easyJet won't guarantee he can take it on board.
