I took a stroll through the Swiss architectural site Vilruvio.ch. You are probably adept enough at surfing surfing, sport of gliding toward the shore on a breaking wave. Surfers originally used long, cumbersome wooden boards but now ride lightweight synthetic boards that allow a greater degree of maneuverability.  by now to know that just typing vitruvio.ch will achieve the result. I'm not going to indulge in·dulge

 Lang/Metropolis site at www.kino.com/metropolis. The movie has been re-digitised and comes complete with 1927 soundtrack. Otherwise there is a choice of historical world architecture down the left and you can look at architects' sites around the world as well as viewing architects who are famous and Swiss, all 24 of them including Maderno and Borromini, plus the 14 famous architects who have worked in Switzerland. The main image on the home page is Claude-Nicolas Ledoux's Royal Saltworks salt·works
