, a business visionary with more than thirty-five years of business and finance experience in international markets. He is advised and assisted by top-notch communications experts.

The communications industry seems to have come a long way, from the ticker-tape and hand-cranked phones to today's digital transmissions. In terms of what was possible, a lot has been achieved in the last 10-15 years. Nevertheless, as far as infrastructure for data transfer speeds are concerned, the industry is currently in a stage quite similar to what happened when, a decade or so ago, copper and coax infrastructures became redundant. Their owners, Telcos and CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV. It used a single antenna at the highest location in the community in order to deliver a quality signal to homes in areas with hilly terrain or other interference.  system operators, however, chose to upgrade (digitize) them, and are now again opting for yet another upgrade, this time with fiber optics fiber optics, transmission of digitized messages or information by light pulses along hair-thin glass fibers. Each fiber is surrounded by a cladding having a high index of refractance so that the light is internally reflected and travels the length of the fiber  closer to the customer. This is something they know to be a lost cause, but in the absence of viable alternatives are going ahead with temporary solutions to increase speeds.

In 2002, TechNet, a US network of CEOs, proposed the "Broadband 2010" initiative, calling for 100 million 100 Megabits per second (unit) megabits per second - (Mbps, Mb/s) Millions of bits per second. A unit of data rate. 1 Mb/s = 1,000,000 bits per second (not 1,048,576).

E.g. Ethernet can carry 10 Mbps.
connections in the United States by 2010. To date, there are few such connections realized while it remains a fact that ultra-high-capacity infrastructures form the most important factor of future economic and national growth.

The firm's management is convinced that for industries and markets to grow, and to allow businesses a platform to innovate further, getting out of the 'choke' of "Megabits per second" is essential. The way further is only possible in an all-out effort, with speeds greater than 1 Gigabit per second per user, which can only be achieved by bringing fiber to the home and utilize fiber wires inside the home instead of the existing copper and coax cables.
