2009 Taiwan Photovoltaic Delegation to Travel to the Middle East.


TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Taiwan External Trade Development Council The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is a non-profit government co-sponsored[1] trade promotion organization in the Republic of China on Taiwan (R.O.C.) founded in 1970.  (TAITRA TAITRA Taiwan External Trade Development Council ) will lead a group of 11 top caliber Taiwanese Photovoltaic The generation of voltage by a material that is exposed to light in the visible and invisible ranges. Solar energy is one of the most promising among the renewable energy sectors. With a great number of leading solar cell makers operating on the island, Taiwan holds a significant manufacturing advantage, and offers excellent industry infrastructure.

Taiwan's production of PV cells last year accounted for 10 percent of global market supply. Currently, the island is ranked 4th among the biggest solar cell producers in the world, and is expected to become among the top 3 by 2015.

The delegation will present the most innovative and highest quality PV products and technologies, covering solar cells, solar modules, thin film solar modules, BIPV BIPV Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (system)
