The Gold Quill Award is the highest level of professional acknowledgment acknowledgment, in law, formal declaration or admission by a person who executed an instrument (e.g., a will or a deed) that the instrument is his. The acknowledgment is made before a court, a notary public, or any other authorized person.  in business communication. For more than 35 years, Gold Quill has been an internationally recognized symbol of excellence that embodies challenge, learning and success, honoring the world's best communication professionals.

Start preparing your entry now. Join your colleagues--strategists, managers and communicators from the corporate, government and nonprofit A corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive.

The search is on for the chief executive who embodies the best in communication practice. The IABC Excellence in Communication Leadership (EXCEL) Award is a global annual award that recognizes a world-class leader who is not an IABC member but who consistently demonstrates vision and leadership in his or her commitment to effective business communication. Nominations can be made by any IABC member or non-member, and must be received by 12 January.

2007 Fellow: IABC's highest member honor

Recognize a colleague who has contributed outstanding work and support for the profession and IABC. The Fellow designation is the highest and most prestigious member honor, acknowledging outstanding leadership, contribution to the profession and service to the association. Any IABC member can nominate nom·i·nate

1. To propose by name as a candidate, especially for election.

2. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor.
