2007 Begins With Investment Sentiment Polarized and Fragile According to TrendPointers.


NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- TrendPointers' January 2007 Investment Sentiment Trend (IST 3.0) Index shows the "sentiment glass" to be slowly filling, but still less than half full. Positive sentiment in the Business Media is at 50%, up from 44% a month ago. Positive sentiment in the Mass Media rose to 40%, up from 35% in the previous month. Sentiment in both media sources are at or near their highs since TrendPointers started tracking sentiment in September, 2006. Still, investment observers are cautious.
