The Super Session titled, "Improving Biotechnology Industry Access to Underserved Populations," will take place Wednesday, May 9, from 9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Sponsored by Genentech, this year's session will continue the dialogue started at the 2005 BIO International Convention regarding the need for all communities to participate actively in all facets of the biotechnology industry. This year's session will feature industry leaders dedicated to promoting diversity in biotechnology. "In order for companies engaged in clinical trials to fulfill the promise of conquering life threatening diseases through research, development, manufacturing and commercialization of drugs for unmet medical needs, we must ensure representative participation of all members of the global community," stated Monica L.
