Elementary Composition Sponsored by Morty and Iris Manus MANUS. Anciently signified the person taking an oath as a compurgator. Mitchell Breeling is an eighth-grade student at Beadle BEADLE. Eng. law. A messenger or apparitor of a court, who cites persons to appear to what is alleged against them, is so called.  Middle School in Omaha, Nebraska. He began studying piano with Gall Dunning at age 8. During this study, he participated in the Nebraska Music Teachers Association 2002 District Auditions and received a Superior rating. Mitchell began studying composition with Regina Carnazzo in 2002. He won the MTNA Composition contests for the state of Nebraska in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006. He won the MTNA West Central Division Composition Contest in 2003.

Brian Buch is a senior composition major at the Indiana University School of Music. He has studied composition with Don Freund, P.Q. Phan, and Sven-David Sandstrom at Indiana University, Nancy de Van Vate in Vienna, and Alla Elana Cohen at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. He has been awarded second place in the national level of the 2005 and 2006 MTNA Young Artist Composition Competitions and honorable mention in the 2005 and 2006 Robert Helps International Composition Competitions.

Anna Han, age 11, is a sixth-grade student in a gifted program at Santan Elementary School in Chandler, Arizona. She started her piano lessons with Fei Xu at age 5 and has been the first-place winner of a number of competitions, including the State Honor Recital, 2006 Arizona Youth Piano Competition and winner of the "Winners' Showcase" and junior concerto of the 2007 Arizona Young Artist Piano Competition. Besides music, Anna enjoys reading, dance and outdoor activities.

Oliver Aldort, age 13, began cello lessons at age 6 and gave a full debut recital on cello and piano just one year later. Since then, he has given many recitals, won top awards and, since age 10, has been a soloist with symphony orchestras on both the east and west coasts. Oliver currently studies with Amos Yang. He has had lessons from Ron Leonard, Richard Aaron, Eugene Osadchy, Paul Katz, Larry Lesser and Irene Sharp.

Tim Hilgert currently studies trombone trombone [Ital.,=large trumpet], brass wind musical instrument of cylindrical bore, twice bent on itself, having a sliding section that lengthens or shortens it and thus regulates the pitch. The descendant of the sackbut, it was developed in the 15th cent.  with Doug Farwell and is a senior at Valdosta High School Valdosta High School is a public high school in Valdosta, Georgia, United States. Home the winningest football program in the United States and plays its home games at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. The official school mascot is the "wildcats". . He recently won the second trombone position with the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra and, in the spring of 2006, was the winner of the Eastern Trombone Workshop The Eastern Trombone Workshop (ETW) is a trombone convention that has run annually at Fort Myer, Virginia since 1993, though the program began as early as 1978. The 2008 Eastern Trombone Workshop will be held from Thursday, March 13th through Saturday, March 15th.  National Solo Competition. Helen McGarr, a 10th grade student of Laurel Maurer, has performed as a soloist with the Salt Lake Symphony and the American Fork, Utah American Fork is a city in Utah County, Utah, USA, at the foot of Mount Timpanogos in the Wasatch Range, north of Utah Lake. Joshua Bledsoe was raised in Crestview, Florida, only miles from Florida's snow-white beaches. Josh is currently pursuing a bachelor of music degree in performance at Florida State University Florida State University, at Tallahassee; coeducational; chartered 1851, opened 1857. Present name was adopted in 1947. Special research facilities include those in nuclear science and oceanography. . In 2004, Josh was named winner of the International Trombone Association's Solo Competition and in 2006, was the recipient of the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Award. Elena Miraztchiyska is currently pursuing a bachelor of music degree in piano performance at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and is studying with Mykola Suk. Originally from Bulgaria, she graduated from a school of music in her country and arrived in the United States in 2004. Elena is a winner of several national and international competitions held in Bulgaria. She has been a soloist of the Bulgarian Chamber Orchestra, Varna Philharmonic Orchestra and the UNLV UNLV University of Nevada, Las Vegas  Orchestra.

Anat Kardontchik began violin studies at age 7. At age 10, she won her first competition, winning a solo performance at the Sounds of Music Festival in PaiD Alto, California. At age 11, she joined the first-violin section of the El Camino Youth Symphony The El Camino Youth Symphony (ECYS) is a youth orchestra located in Palo Alto, California.

More than 400 K-12 students from over 100 schools from San Francisco to Santa Cruz train and perform in five orchestras and four ensembles, led by the award-winning, internationally
 and was the youngest member in the symphony tour of Italy and Austria, where they won the second prize in the renowned International Festival of Youth and Music in Vienna.
