2006 Trans Tasman Conference geared to 'Research to Reality'.


Designed to bring together key decision makers from the paint, resins, ink, and adhesives manufacturers industries, the Surface Coatings Association of New Zealand New Zealand (zē`lənd), island country (2005 est. pop. 4,035,000), 104,454 sq mi (270,534 sq km), in the S Pacific Ocean, over 1,000 mi (1,600 km) SE of Australia. Themed "Research to Reality--From Design Concept to Meeting Customer Expectations," the conference will focus on a wide range of topics including: technical innovation and developments in raw materials and finished products, breakthroughs in technology that change the way things are done, research and training organizations contributions to commercial success, managing the research and product development process, and meeting customer expectations from product briefs to marketing.

The four-day conference will conduct dual sessions, one focused on research and technical advances, and a parallel session exploring the management and marketing aspects of bringing new ideas "New Ideas" is the debut single by Scottish New Wave/Indie Rock act The Dykeenies.
