ELEMENTARY PIANO John Weem * Sunday, March 26 John Weems has established himself nationally as an outstanding private studio teacher. His students have consistently won top awards in many major competitions, including the local, district and state competitions sponsored by the Texas MTA; the MTNA Junior and Senior Piano Competitions; and numerous state, national and international competitions. Since 1983, his students annually have performed with orchestras, amassing more than 200 performances. Westminster has a choral emphasis that educates men and women at the undergraduate and graduate levels for music leadership careers in churches, schools, of Rider University. She holds a bachelor of music degree from Oberlin College and a master of music degree from the Eastman School of Music. Clarfield has given lecture-recitals, workshops and master classes in more than 100 cities across North America. VOICE Rose Taylor * Tuesday, March 28 Rose Taylor, professor of voice, at The University of Texas at Austin, has performed operatic roles with the Dallas, Chicago Lyric, Ft. Worth, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Lake George, Des Moines Metro, Kansas City Lyric, Peoria and Austin Lyric opera companies. She has also sung with the Boston, Chicago, National, Minnesota, Buffalo Philharmonic, Austin and Detroit symphony orchestras and was invited for 10 consecutive years to sing the Philadelphia Orchestra's annual Messiah. In Yugoslavia, she has sung Ulrica in Ballo in Maschera with the National Theatre of both Belgrade and Zagreb, and has premiered operas by Dominick Argento, Robert Xavier Rodriguez and Peter Schat. COLLABORATIVE Amadeus Trio * Sunday, March 26 The Amadeus Trio, is known as one of the foremost piano trios in the world. Recognized for their brilliant virtuosity and superb musicianship, the three artists, pianist Marian Hahn, violinist Timothy Baker and cellist Richard Locker also enjoy award-winning solo careers. The Amadeus Trio has appeared with regularity in principal cultural centers including New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of , Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, Washington, D.C., Miami, Philadelphia and Salt Lake City during the past decade.
