2006 Drill Program Begins on Aberdene Mines' New York Canyon Project.

Drift Exploration Drilling Inc. of High River, Alberta High River is a town in southwestern Alberta, Canada with a population of 10,716. (2006). It is  km ( mi) south of the city of Calgary, at the junction of Alberta Highways 2 and 23.  has been contracted to conduct an initial 20,000 feet of reverse circulation ("RC") drilling using a track mounted rig. Drift conducted more than 10,000 feet of drilling on the project in 2005 and has knowledgeable and skilled personnel to undertake the expanded 2006 program. The rig has been mobilized to the property and drilling has commenced.

Leroy Kay Drilling of Yerington, Nevada has been contracted to provide core drilling services at the New York Canyon copper project this year. Leroy Kay has provided drilling services to Aberdene for the past two years and is to begin core drilling operations at New York Canyon in mid-April.
