2006 Building Brooklyn Awards.


The Brooklyn Brooklyn (brk`lĭn), borough of New York City (1990 pop. 2,300,664), 71 sq mi (184 sq km), coextensive with Kings co., SE N.Y.  Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Building Brooklyn Awards to recognize various new construction and renovation projects that have made significant contributions toward the economic and community development of Brooklyn. The Building Brooklyn Awards also recognizes two individuals (one from the public sector and the other from the private sector) who have had a positive impact on the borough's economy and quality of life.
