Parker Ramsay, age 14, a native of Burns, Tennessee, is a three-time State and Southern Division winner, and national finalist, in MTNA Composition Competitions. He studies composition and harp with Carol McClure, music theory with Wes Ramsay and organ with Wilma Jensen. Principal harpist of Nashville's Curb Youth Symphony, Parker has completed ABRSM ABRSM Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (UK)  Grade 8 examinations with distinction in organ, piano and harp. He directs Nashville's Young and Baroque from the harpsichord.

John Ernst is completing an undergraduate degree in music composition from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has studied composition with W. Thomas McKenney and Stefan Freund and piano with Karen Larvick. John is dedicated to the art of music composition and plans to pursue a master's degree next fall. His ever-expanding body of works includes music for accompanied voice, a cappella choir, solo piano, wind ensemble, orchestra and various chamber ensembles.

Zachary Gingerich is a native of Conway, Arkansas, where he is a freshman at Conway High School Conway High School is a public school located in Conway, South Carolina at 2301 Church Street. As of 2004-2005, the school's enrollment was 1,435. The school's principal is Mr. Porter Kennington. . He began playing the trombone in sixth grade, and is a student of Todd Johnson. Zach was chosen first chair in All-Region band and jazz band this year. He also plays in the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra. Zach is the son of J.D. and Janet Gingerich of Conway.

George Fu is a freshman at Urbana High School Urbana High School can refer to several different schools:

Whenever he can find the time, George's hobbies include football, ultimate frisbee and composing music. George also has an interest in languages, being fluent in Chinese and English, and learning French and Spanish.

Linnaea Brophy, age 14, from Bartlett, Tennessee, is a scholarship student of Carolyn Huebl at the Blair School of Music History
While established in 1964, Blair did not initially offer undergraduate-level courses, instead focusing on pre-college music education as part of the then-independent Peabody College (Peabody is itself now part of Vanderbilt).
 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. A member of the Perlman Music Program The Perlman Music Program was founded by Itzhak Perlman and his wife, Toby, in 1995. The program is headquartered in Shelter Island, New York. It offers exceptionally talented young string players, aged 12 to 18, a six-week summer residential courses in solo performance, chamber  since June 2005, Linnaea was recently named winner in the string division of the 2006 Alabama Symphony concerto competition. She has performed as soloist with several symphonies and was featured in the Saint-Saens third violin concerto with the Memphis Youth Symphony.

Helen McGarr, age 14, of Lindon, Utah, began her performing career as a concerto soloist with the Salt Lake Symphony at age 7. Helen has won numerous competitions, including second place in the 2004 MTNA Junior Woodwind Competitions, first place in the collegiate division of the 2005 UMTA UMTA Urban Mass Transportation Administration (DOT)

Ibanda Ruhumbika was born in Hampton, Virginia, and currently resides in Athens, Georgia. He is a sophomore in high school and attends Cedar Shoals High School in Athens. Ibanda participates in many extracurricular activities at school and is a member of the Athens Youth Symphony The Athens Youth Symphony is a symphony based out of Athens, Georgia. The symphony was founded in 2001. It is currently directed by Karl Schab. They usually have two concerts a year, one in the fall and one in the spring. The symphony is made up of middle and high schoolers. . He has played the tuba tuba (t`bə) [Lat.,=trumpet], valved brass wind musical instrument of wide conical bore.  for four years and takes music lessons from Heather Noyes-Richter and David Zerkel.

Zoe Martin-Doike is a home-schooled sophomore from Honolulu, Hawaii. Zoe attends the Punahou Music School, where she is a student of James Stanford. For the past three summers, she studied with Mimi Zweig at the Indiana University String Academy. Zoe has performed as a soloist with the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and the Hawaii Youth Symphony. More recently, she had the honor of playing a sonata with Christopher O'Reilly on the NPR NPR

Banner Smith is a 17-year-old senior at Southridge High School Southridge High School may refer to:

 in Kennewick, Washington. He has studied voice for four years, during which time he has won several awards. Banner also studies the piano and sings in his school choir. As a member of the Washington East Opera Chorus, he has performed in La Traviata and II Barbiere di Siviglia. Banner is also interested in engineering and currently has an internship at Battelle Pacific Northwest National Laboratories.

Gabriella Roderer, 15, daughter of Rene and Marci Roderer, of Wellsville, Utah, began flute studies at age 10. She won first place at the 2004 and 2005 Utah State Fair Music Competition, first place in 2004 and 2005 at the Utah MTA Woodwind Competition, and top awards in the 2003 and 2004 Utah Symphony Youth Guild Competition. Her teacher is Cindy Henderson. Gabriella enjoys singing, acting, reading and writing. She also plays the piano, organ and Irish whistle.

Lee Jacobs is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University Pennsylvania State University, main campus at University Park, State College; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1855, opened 1859 as Farmers' High School. , pursuing a bachelor of music degree in tuba performance. He has appeared as a soloist and with orchestras and wind ensembles throughout the United States and Europe, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Spain, Italy, Ireland and England. In 2005, Lee won the Penn State Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition and the Marjorie Jane Brewster Memorial Scholarship Competition. His principal teachers include Velvet Brown, Jeff Parker and Jack Tilbury Tilbury (tĭl`bərē), part of the urban district of Thurrock, Essex, E England. Tilbury Fort originated under Henry VIII; it was rebuilt and strengthened in the 17th cent. .

Joseph Liccardo is a senior at the Eastman School of Music Eastman School of Music: see Rochester, Univ. of. , where he is pursuing a bachelor of music degree in performance. He is currently a student of Douglas Humpherys. Joseph was accepted at the Eastman School as a Rogers Scholar, one of only 12 from his class. This award recognizes both scholastic and musical accomplishment. As a freshman at Eastman, Joseph won the Eastman concerto competition and performed Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini The Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (Russian: Рапсодия на тему Паганини, Rapsodiya na temu Paganini  with the Eastman Philharmonia.

Lachezar Kostov is pursuing a master of music degree at the North Carolina School of the Arts The North Carolina School of the Arts is a well known arts conservatory in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was the first state-supported, residential school of its kind in the nation. , studying with Zvi Plesser. His previous teachers include Anatoly Krustev, David Grigorian and Csaba Onczay. Lachezar has taken part in numerous festivals including Tanglewood Music Festival The Tanglewood Music Festival is the oldest music festival in the United States. It is held every summer on the Tanglewood estate in Lenox, Massachusetts in the Berkshire Hills in western Massachusetts.  2005, Mozarteum-Salzburg 2004 and Prague-Wien-Budapest Summer Festival 2002, where he has taken master classes with Yo-Yo Ma, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Robert Cohen and Bernard Greenhouse. Among his awards are the special cello award at the 2005 Kingsville International Competitions.

Amanda Lenora Green, a student at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, received her bachelor's degree in May. She has performed such roles as Eurydice in J. Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld Orphée aux enfers (Orpheus in the Underworld), opéra bouffe (or opéra féerie in its revised version), is an operetta by Jacques Offenbach. The French text was written by Ludovic Halévy and later revised by Hector-Jonathan Crémieux. , the New Prioress in Dialogue of the Carmelites by F. Poulenc, Johanne in Love Theories written by Linda Lister and will be the featured soprano in Mozart's Vesperae solennes de confessore and J. Rutter's Requiem this year.

ViM is a saxophone quartet comprised of four saxophone performance majors in their junior year at The Eastman School of Music. Since their formation in the fall of 2003, ViM has appeared twice at the U.S. Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium and has appeared at two Eastman Honors Chamber Music Society recitals.
