2005 Pittsburgh-Marquette challenge a huge success!The Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge is a grassroots fundraising effort coordinated and carried out each year by physical therapy students. Each year, Challenge donations fund a $40,000 research grant for a project evaluating the effectiveness of a physical therapy intervention. This year's Challenge was a huge success, raising a record-breaking $106,154.42 with 56 schools participating! Not only does this total exceed the previous record by more than $26,500, 5 new schools joined the Challenge. Fundraising events organized by the students ranged from golf tournaments and road races to bake sales and continuing education continuing education: see adult education. continuing education or adult education Any form of learning provided for adults.
