To give you a brief history of the event, this particular symposium was conceived in the early 1990s when the medical director of the Marine Corps Marathon recognized the need for additional training for his medical staff to address the growing number of beginner marathoners who participate through charity-related programs.

Over the years, it has grown from a one-day event one-day event

a contraction of the three-day event but like that contest is aimed at selecting the best all-round horse and rider. The events usually contested are show-jumping, dressage and cross-country.
 touching on a few key topics to a two-day event beginning with grand rounds and including an evening panel to promote exchange of intellectual discussion among professionals with an interest in sports medicine. In fact, the symposium's excellent educational reputation has attracted many residency A duration of stay required by state and local laws that entitles a person to the legal protection and benefits provided by applicable statutes.

States have required state residency for a variety of rights, including the right to vote, the right to run for public office, the
 directors, who now bring their residents for the learning opportunity experienced both through the lectures and practical education in the medical tent on race day.
