MTNA FOUNDATION FUND Young Artist Percussion * Maximum performance time: forty (40) minutes * The program must contain: ** at least one selection for a keyboard percussion instrument ** at least one selection for a non-keyboard percussion instrument * Memorization is not required. For the National Finals of the percussion competition, MTNA will furnish a 4 1/3 octave marimba, one set of four timpani (32", 29", 26", 23"), a timpani throne, one bass drum and stand, and one tam-tam and stand. All other percussion equipment must be furnished by the entrant. MTNA is not responsible for the quality or sounding surface of the marimba available to MTNA in the conference city.
