Welcome to Miami This short introductory session will give an expert overview of the immediate geographic area, as well as information about the city and details about tour options offered throughout the week. Executive Management Symposium There will be a track of seminars exclusively for general managers and owners. Seminars Attendees will have 12 seminars from which to choose, with a mix of sessions for telco managers, owners and directors. Most of the seminars repeat, so attendees can take advantage of as many as four topics at one low price. Pre-registration is required for seminars. Workshops A variety of complimentary workshops will be offered; registration is not required. Look for workshop topics in future Annual Meeting Updates. Receptions Attendees are invited to the NTCA Welcome Reception Sunday evening in the lawn area near the beach of the Fontainebleau. Entertainment will be provided by Islanda, a tropical trio performing a variety of reggae, calypso Calypso, in Greek mythology Calypso (kəlĭp`sō), nymph, daughter of Atlas, in Homer's Odyssey. She lived on the island of Ogygia and there entertained Odysseus for seven years. and popular island favorites. Attendees also are invited to the EXPO Open House on Tuesday for a light reception and the opportunity to meet with exhibitors. NTCA EXPO '04 EXPO '04 is the best national manufacturing and service showcase in the industry devoted to small and rural independent telcos. The EXPO provides a unique opportunity to learn about the latest products and services. On Tuesday, NTCA will host a luncheon for managers and their colleagues, and on Tuesday afternoon, attendees are invited to an open house from 4:30-6 p.m. A luncheon will be held Wednesday for managers, directors and key employees, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (See the Schedule-at-a-Glance on pages 48 and 49 for a complete listing of EXPO events.)
