* President Mike Gustafson (Missouri-Kansas Chapter/John Deere)

Mike Gustafson is Manager, Creative Group, for the John Deere Agricultural Marketing Center in Lenexa, Kansas. Gustafson has been involved with NAMA on the local and national level since 1978. He was elected to the Executive Committee in 1997.

President-Elect * Tom Taylor (Great Plains Chapter/High Plains Journal)

Tom Taylor is currently Associate Publisher and Vice President of High Plains Journal located in Dodge City Dodge City, city (1990 pop. 21,129), seat of Ford co., SW Kans., on the Arkansas River; inc. 1875. The distribution center for a wheat and livestock producing area, it also packs meat and makes agricultural implements. Laid out in 1872 near Fort Dodge (1864) on the old Santa Fe Trail, it flourished as a Santa Fe railhead and became a wild cow town; Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson were among those who helped to curb lawlessness., Kansas. Taylor has served as treasurer, program chair and president of the Great Plains Chapter. He served on the Executive Committee from 1998-2001 and returned to the Executive Committee to serve as the secretary/treasurer in 2002-2003.

* Secretary/Treasurer Tom Smull (Iowa Chapter / Metro Iowa Plus Newspapers)

Tom Smull is the advertising representative for Metro Iowa Plus Newpapers in Des Moines, Iowa. Smull has been a NAMA member for over 17 years and has served in many NAMA leadership positions including president of the Iowa Chapter and regional director.

Vice President Sheri Seger (Chicago Chapter/ Progressive Farmer)

Sheri Seger is regional advertising manager for Progressive Farmer in Chicago. She has been a NAMA member since 1981 and joined the Executive Committee in 2001. In addition she has served in various positions on a local and national level for the organization.

Vice President Stephanie Gable (Carolinas/ Virgina/ Bayer CropScience)

Stephanie Gable is communications manager for Bayer CropScience in Durham, North Carolina. She deals with strategic planning as well as advertising and PR initiatives. She served on the national Careers Committee for three years and was the chair for 2 years.

Vice President Patty Travis (Mid-America/ 5MetaCom)

Patty Travis is Media Director for 5MetaCom, having been with them for over 11 years. Travis has been involved with NAMA at the local level in numerous positions, including chapter president. She also served as a Regional Director of Regon IV.

* Vice President Susie Decker (Cornbelt Chapter / Farm Progress Companies)

Susie Decker is Regional Sales Manager for Farm Progress Companies; a Rural Press Limited Company

A form of business commonly used in the U.K. comparable to incorporation in the U.S.
. Decker has served in many NAMA positions including president of the Cornbelt chapter in 1999-2000 and regional director in 2000-2002.

* Vice President Monte Reese (Rocky Mtn. Chapter/ Cattlemen's Beef Promotion & Research Board)

Monte Reese is the chief operating officer (COO) of the Cattlemen's Beef Promotion and Research Board in Centennial, Colorado. Reese served NAMA as the second chair of the Commodity Promotion Council, a position he's held for three years. He was also the chair of the 2001 Agribusiness Forum.

* Elected at the Board Meeting held on April 15, 2003 in San Diego.
