2003 Senior Fire Support Conference dates set.


Planning is underway for the next Senior Fire Support Conference (SFSC SFSC Southeast Fisheries Science Center
SFSC Southwick Family Support Coalition (Massachusetts) 
) at the Field Artillery School, Fort Sill Fort Sill, U.S. military reservation, Comanche co., SW Okla., 4 mi (6.4 km) N of Lawton; est. 1869 by Gen. Philip Sheridan. A 95,000-acre (38,445-hectare) field artillery and missile base, it is the home of the U.S. Army Artillery and Missile Center. , Oklahoma, 22-24 October. Army and Marine FA commanders and their command sergeants major will meet 21 October before the main conference begins.

The 2003 Henry Knox and Alexander Hamilton Awards for the best active and Army National Guard (ARNO Arno, river, c.150 mi (240 km) long, rising in the Northern Apennines, Tuscany, central Italy, and flowing south to Arezzo where it turns northwest; it proceeds generally west, through Florence and Pisa, to empty into the Ligurian Sea. ) batteries, respectively, will be presented during the conference. The 2002 Knox Best Battery Award winner was B Battery, 1st Battalion, 319th Field Artillery (B/1-319 FA), 82d Airborne Division, and the 2002 Hamilton Best Battery Award winner was B/1-147 FA, 147th FA Brigade, South Dakota South Dakota (dəkō`tə), state in the N central United States. It is bordered by North Dakota (N), Minnesota and Iowa (E), Nebraska (S), and Wyoming and Montana (W).  ARNG. The deadline for awards submissions is 15 September.
