Sports Editors/Business Editors/Health/Medical Writers

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2003

When the starting gun for the 2003 Schlotzsky's(R) Deli Bun Run(R) and Family Fun Run fires on Sunday, April 13, elite runners from across town and around the world will be competing for a share of a $30,000 race purse and a chance to bring down state and world 5K records.

At the same time, an always-eclectic Austin mix of the other competitive and noncompetitive runners, walkers, and families with strollers and pets who have made the Bun Run(R) the city's most well-known race will be continuing annual springtime traditions in Austin's longest-running 5K.

Race proceeds will benefit Austin Sunshine Camps, the Young Men's Business League-sponsored program for at-risk and disadvantaged youths that is celebrating its 75th birthday this year. Austin Sunshine Camps adventure and scholarship programs send kids to camp and teach leadership, team-building and trust.
