(Competitions).Canada's Honens International Piano Competition Canada's Honens International Piano Competition is held every three years and awards more than CAD 100,000 in cash prizes and a lucrative three-year Artistic and Career Development Program to launch and sustain the careers of its three laureates. will take place in Calgary, October 23-November 7, 2003, awarding prizes totaling more than CAD $100,000. Applications are being accepted online at www.honens.com. The new competition structure reflects a greater emphasis on chamber music than in the past.
