 Claire Thayer, MCOL vice president of Research and Development, "Our analysis indicates that there has been significant change for leaders of managed care organization during the past year. 15.9% of the company offices previously profiled in the directory have been shuttered, and 14.4% of executive positions in remaining locations experienced turnover during the past year."

Said Thayer, "This year's update offers 6,767 separate executives listed from 688 companies, with up to 30 key executive positions listed per company. In addition to their actual title, executives are listed by standardized job functions, with 8,711 total listings by job function provided as some executives pull double or even triple duty in filling key functions in certain organizations."

Companies listed in the directory are managed care-related organizations that typically serve 50,000 members or more. These Companies represent multiple industry segments to provide a single source of contact information including address, phone and fax. Parent company information is included where applicable, and all companies are listed according to the following standardized categories: Administrative Services; Care Management; Health Plan; PBM PBM - play by mail.
