 of the annual Florida Venture Capital Conference, is pleased to announce that seven presenters from the January January: see month. , 2001 Conference held only six months ago have raised capital. The Florida Venture Capital Conference, Florida's only statewide conference for the venture capital community, has attracted millions of dollars of venture capital into Florida-based companies over the last decade. The Florida Venture Forum survey now reveal that seven of the 26 presenters have succeeded in securing, either directly or indirectly as a result of the Conference, $30.8 million in funding from investors, bringing the grand total for former presenters who have raised capital over the last ten years to $424 million. Other presenters are currently negotiating with investors.

To date, the following seven companies have received funding, demonstrating investor confidence, a sound business plan and high growth marketing potential:
-- Ft. Lauderdale-based BizProLink, the Internet's first and largest aggregator
of industry-specific ASPs, received $3.2 million from Crossbow Ventures.

-- Ft. Lauderdale-based Fourbit Group, Inc., an Internet infrastructure company
whose product suite enables wired and wireless e-business web sites and
applications to be built significantly faster, cheaper and with greater quality
of service, received $1.5 million from private investors.

-- West Palm Beach-based JesterDigital Corporation, creator of a web-based
multi-user accessible virtual reality environment to drive commerce
opportunities in digital media, performance gaming, interactive advertising,
and affinity-partner web development, received $6.8 million from Crossbow
Ventures and Wyncrest Capital.

-- Tampa-based Kview, Inc., is a high-volume multimedia production company that
creates one-minute audio and video shows on a variety of how-to topics,
displayed on their pcshowandtell.com site, received $5 million from Stonehenge
Capital, Advantage Capital, Thompson Murff LLC and others.

-- Plantation-based LatPro, Inc., an online employment center for Spanish and
Portuguese-speaking job seekers, as well as employers and recruiters searching
for top-quality professionals with this specialized market, received $300,000
from Fred Perkins of Perkins & Associates.

-- Miami-based Medmundo.com, Inc., provider of services for the administration
of the procurement process for hospitals and other health institutions in Latin
America, received $4.0 million from Crossbow Ventures and Battery Ventures.

-- Boca Raton-based OmniCluster Technologies, Inc., a developer of network
technology that provides full PC function and a gigabit network to simplify
cost effective high bandwidth solutions, received $10.0 million from Crossbow
Ventures, HIG Ventures and Mellon Ventures.
