Trade union Unison yesterday said all staff at Quarriers, who provide services for vulnerable children, were threatened with redundancy unless they agree to management proposals. The union claim Quarriers want to cut staff nightshift and public holiday payments. It was also claimed sick pay could be cut by 25 per cent for staff with fewer than five years' service.
