2000 NSA 55th Annual Convention Education Program.

Contrary to popular belief, estate planning involves much more than preparing a will, and it is not only for the
 Symposium, will be provided at the National Society of Accountants' 2000 Annual Convention. Just think, you have an opportunity to earn a maximum of 34 CPEs through activities involved with this year's Annual Convention by combining attendance at the education sessions (Maximum: 18 CPEs) and the Institute Symposium (16 CPEs). The Symposium will be conducted as part of the Convention.

This year's Convention will highlight education sessions offered in three tracks: Accounting, Technology, and Practice Management. All three tracks will run concurrent sessions from which attendees may select. The concurrent sessions will be repeated for those who were unable to attend the first time each session was presented. Check the Annual Convention brochure (see insert) for the dates and times of presentation for each education session.

Continuing Professional Education

CPEs will be awarded for sessions conducted in nine time slots over a three-day period, starting on Thursday, August 24 through Saturday, August 26 and the Institute Symposium on Monday and Tuesday, August 28-29. NSA NSA

Institute for Business, Financial and Estate Planning Symposium

A special addition to this year's Convention will be an offering of the Institute Symposium. The two-day program will be presented on Monday and Tuesday, August 28-29. Sixteen (16) CPE's will be awarded to those completing the Symposium (8 CPEs for each day of class). Symposium attendees will be able to chose from two tracks: Financial Planning, as well as Succession and Estate Planning.

If you attend only the Institute Symposium, a special 2-day convention package for NSA Institute members of $308 ($383 for NSA non-Institute members; $533 for non-NSA members) will cover the two consecutive days (Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29). Registering as an NSA non-Institute member will provide you with an added bonus of a 1-year membership in the NSA Institute. If you are a non-NSA member, your registration fee will include the added bonuses of a 1-year membership in NSA and the NSA Institute. Save an additional $50 off all packages by registering before July 15!
