THE O2 Academy's opening weekend of Birmingham acts concludes on September 13 with a headline show from Ocean Colour Scene.

The Moseley band has enjoyed an incredible 20-year journey and with a new album set for release early next year they're still going strong.

Guitarist Steve Cradock says: "We are making the OCS album the fans deserve which is full on, full volume Ocean Colour Scene Rock and Roll: a nod to the past a wink to the future... bring it on!'' Alongside new material, expect the O2 Academy show to include OCS anthems like Hundred Mile High City, The Riverboat Song and The Day We Caught The Train. And be prepared to party!
