20-Year Financial Services Veteran John Belchers Joins InteQ as Chief Financial Officer.

Belchers to help grow InteQ as it expands sales of its MSP 

services into dot.coms, service providers and enterprises

Financial services veteran John Belchers has joined Management Service Provider (MSP) InteQ Corporation as chief financial officer, the company announced today. Belchers brings more than 20 years of financial management experience in the manufacturing, retail, distribution and service industries to InteQ. He will draw on that experience to help grow the company as businesses increasingly call on InteQ's information technology (IT) monitoring and management services to ensure their infrastructures perform optimally.

Belchers comes to InteQ from e-commerce distributed selling solutions provider Fairmarket, Inc., where he orchestrated an initial public offering that raised $100 million. During Belchers' tenure as vice president and CFO, the startup grew from 50 employees to 250 employees in 15 months.

Belchers joined Fairmarket from MicroProse, Inc., where he served as senior vice president and CFO for the entertainment software provider. He was responsible for all financial operations, investor relations and risk management for the company with offices in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Japan and Australia. Belchers also played a key role in the sale of the company to Hasbro Interactive, a division of toy industry giant, Hasbro.

Prior to MicroProse, Belchers served as executive vice president, COO and CFO of Discovery Toys, a nationally recognized provider of children's educational products.

Belchers has also held a variety of senior management positions directing financial operations both in the U.S. and abroad with American President Lines, Seardel Investment Corporation, and as a partner of KMG (now KPMG).
