Tree planting is one of the few expenses the League allows itself aside from normal maintenance such as replacing broken sprinkler heads or lights.

League officials say if the stolen trees are not found, they are unsure if they will ever be able to replace them.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Rush at (661) 940-3833.

To make donations to help replace the trees or to donate similar trees, contact Melody Speed, Quartz Hill Little League president, at (661) 943-3754.
