4 Sensible Soccer 2006

Just in time for the World Cup, one of the most iconic computer games of the last 20 years is getting a makeover for the 21st century.

Sensible Soccer 2006 is out on June 9, bringing cutting-edge graphics and technology to the classic game.

Famous for its super-fast manic play, curling shots and cartoon-style images, the game has been updated for the PlayStation 2 and X-Box (costing pounds 24.99) and PC (pounds 19.99).

5 Glasgow's West End Festival 10th anniversary

Last year 50,000 people caught the entertainment on five stages. This year the music, theatre and exhibitions are back from June 9-25.

6 Kelburn Castle and Country Centre

Visitors to the Ayrshire attraction can learn about herbal remedies from expert Bill Cleeve at a course on Sunday, June 11 (2pm-5pm).

15 Isle of Skye Music Festival The Isle of Skye Music Festival is a mixed music festival that takes place on the Ashaig Airstrip near Broadford, Scotland. 16 The Singing Kettle

There's great family entertainment for younger kids and the chance to dress up when Scotland's Singing Kettle crew bring their latest show, Old Macdonald's Farm, on the road. They'll be at the Cumbernauld Theatre June 8-11 and Greenock Arts Guild Theatre June 17-18, with other venues later.

17 Edinburgh Treefest and Woodmarket

This two- day festival - at Inverleith Park in Edinburgh - includes displays, demonstrations, crafts, activities, games, entertainment and refreshments. On June 10 and 11 from 11am-5pm.
