20/20 Software offers file binding capability in Version 4.1 of PC-Install; Free upgrade for Version 4.0 users provides enhanced ease of use with multiple file transfers with Windows, Windows NT and Windows '95.


PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1996--20/20 Software today introduced version 4.1 of its widely used PC-Install(tm) installation software for DOS, Windows(R) 3.x, and Windows 95 & NT.

Version 4.1 of PC-Install provides users with an easy and professional way to distribute software and data files, and has become the easiest way to distribute software into DOS, Windows 3 and Windows 95/NT environments. This latest version, available at no charge to registered users of Version 4.0, adds the ability to "bind" together multiple program, system and data files for easy, single-file distribution over the internet or other on-line service.

This new binding capability supplements a number of other new features that were introduced in Version 4.0 in late 1995, including uninstall To remove hardware or software from a computer system.
