WalkAmerica, the largest and most successful walking event in the nation was held at 17 Southern California locations this weekend and raised an estimated record $1.7 million to prevent birth defects birth defects, abnormalities in physical or mental structure or function that are present at birth. Marissa was born 3 months premature weighing only 2 lbs., 5 oz.
