UXBRIDGE - Voters will choose a new member to serve on the Board of Selectmen SELECTMEN. The name of certain officers in several of the United States, who are invested by the statutes of the several states with various powers.  at tomorrow's annual election. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with all four precincts pre·cinct

The two candidates vying for the three-year term as selectman se·lect·man

Noun 1. selectman - an elected member of a board of officials who run New England towns
 are: School Committee member Peter Baghdasarian of 67 Johnston Road Johnston Road (Traditional Chinese: 莊士敦道; Simplified Chinese: 庄士敦道  and Cari Kay Robertson of 76 Mendon St. The vacancy on the board was created by the resignation of James F. Dwyer II, who stepped down Oct. 18. Mr. Dwyer's term would have expired this spring.

Running unopposed for two three-year terms on the School Committee are incumbent Ernest F. Esposito of 9 Hewett St. and Mary-Meg Walsh of 149 Londonderry Way.

Also running unopposed are the following:

Town Moderator Harold J. Klei of 105 Quaker Highway is seeking another three-year term. Incumbent Karen D. Knapik of 203 Hartford Ave. West is seeking another three-year term as the Edward C. Thayer Fund trustee. Arthur A. Jackman III of 320 Millville Road is seeking a term as library trustee, and Alice M. Picard, of 8 Ascot Ascot (ăs`kət), town, Windsor and Maidenhead, S central England. The famous horse races instituted by Queen Anne in 1711 are held annually in June on Ascot Heath. Ascot remains an important social and fashion event, attended by the royal family.  Lane, is seeking a five-year term on the Uxbridge Housing Authority.

One three-year term is open on the Finance Committee. Longtime Finance Committee member C. Edward Maharay, 148 Rivulet St., who serves as chairman, did not take out nomination papers. Finance Committee member Mary Pat Wickstrom informed Mr. Klei before last week's annual town meeting that she was not seeking re-appointment to a third term.
