2 killed in Ohio workplace shooting

A shooting at a trucking company left two people dead Wednesday, and a suspect was arrested in Michigan after fleeing the scene in a semitrailer cab.

The 43-year-old man was arrested several hours after the 3 p.m. shooting at Liberty Transportation in Perrysburg Township, township Detective Sgt. Robert Gates said.

The cab was found in a hotel parking lot in Monroe County, Mich., just over the state line, police said.

Police said they are interviewing witnesses and have not determined a motive. Details on the victims were not released, and no one else was injured, Gates said.

The company is in an industrial complex in the township, seven miles southeast of Toledo.
