Informal radio waves used in radio and television broadcasting is raging on UK roads between middle-aged drivers who compete to put Radio 2 or their local independent radio station in the listeners' top slot, AA research reveals.
On the 80th anniversary of the introduction of the car radio, Radio 2 has the edge with 20% of the 13,900 AA members surveyed picking it as the station they are most likely to listen to, 18% of drivers favour their local station.
