2 WOMEN KILLED IN CRASH IDENTIFIED VICTIMS AGE 19, 86 INVOLVED IN 3-VEHICLE SMASH.

LITTLEROCK - Authorities identified Friday a 19-year-old woman and an 86-year-old woman who died in a three-vehicle crash on Palmdale Boulevard.

The crash occurred when the younger woman's car veered into an oncoming on·com·ing

Killed were Jessica Alegre, 19, of Palmdale and Rosemary rosemary [ultimately from Lat.,=dew of the sea], widely cultivated evergreen and shrubby perennial (Rosmarinus officinalis) of the family Labiatae (mint family), fairly hardy and native to the Mediterranean region. Alegre's 1996 Mercury was traveling east on two-lane Palmdale Boulevard at about 55 mph Thursday afternoon when the car veered into the westbound traffic lane.

The Mercury's left front collided with the left front of a westbound trash truck traveling about 40 mph, damaging the truck's left front wheel.

The truck hit Friend's 1994 Chevrolet, which had been traveling behind Alegre's Mercury, the CHP said. Friend's vehicle overturned.

Both Friend and Alegre were pronounced dead at the scene. Alegre's passenger Crystal Sanchez, 18, of Littlerock was flown by helicopter to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is a hospital in Mission Hills, California, USA. The hospital has 254 beds, and is part of Providence Health & Services. History  in Mission Hills with injuries described by the CHP as moderate.

The two workers on the trash truck were not hurt.
