2 TEENS HELD IN SHOOTING AT POLICE.

Two teen-age gang members led police on an early morning chase in the San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

The victim ignored the suspects and drove off, but the Mercedes followed him down Burbank Boulevard and into the driveway of the North Hollywood police station.

``Just as (he) was turning into the driveway, a passenger in the Mercedes fired two shots and struck the Honda,'' Partain said, adding that the victim was not hurt.

``Luckily, there was a patrol unit driving by that saw what happened, and they began pursuing the suspects,'' Partain said.

The Mercedes continued east on Burbank Boulevard, and when the pursuit reached Beck Avenue, the passenger in the Mercedes leaned out of the window and fired two shots at the pursuing officers, police said.

``Neither of the officers were injured, and the unit was able to continue the chase,'' Partain said.

Two miles later, the Mercedes came to an abrupt stop in the 7200 block of Ensign Avenue. Both the passenger and driver of the Mercedes fled on foot in different directions.

Corona, the passenger and shooting suspect, was found hiding in an apartment and was arrested without incident, police said.

Arriola, the driver of the Mercedes, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning Sunday Morning may refer to:

, after police tracked him down to his residence in the 8200 block of Vanscoy Avenue, officials said.

The two suspects were also thought to have been involved in a shooting that occurred earlier Sunday morning, police said.

Officers believe a 20-year-old Pacoima man was shot in the forearm by one of the suspects at 2:45 a.m. at 10651 Kewen Ave.

That victim was listed in stable condition at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is a hospital in Mission Hills, California, USA. The hospital has 254 beds, and is part of Providence Health & Services. History , Partain said.

Both suspects were booked at the Van Nuys police station for attempted murder of an officer, Partain said.
