2 TEENS ADMIT SETTING BLAZE.

Two 15-year-olds have admitted setting fire to the outdoor lunch area at Wiley Canyon Elementary School elementary school: see school. , Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County sheriff's officials said Tuesday.

The boys, from Valencia and Newhall, were arrested Monday morning, the day after the fire on the Newhall campus, according to a sheriff's report. Lt. The fire burned two canopies covering lunch tables.

``We received a call of the canopy burning,'' Castillo said. ``We went to check on it and then contacted the informant who led us to other kids on campus. They told us who did it.''

. A sheriff's deputy on routine patrol in the area spotted the flames and quickly doused them with a fire extinguisher from the squad car. Those youths, too, were released to their parents, and they await court hearings on possible arson charges.
