2 MURDERS BRING TWO LIFE TERMS.

Prosecutors and family members said the killing might have been drug-related.

The sentencing of co-defendant William Hogan William Hogan was born in Ireland and became a priest before emigrating to America around 1810. Assigned to St. Mary's parish in Philadelphia, he proved himself a popular priest. , 39, was postponed Friday because his attorney was engaged in a trial, court officials said.

Campos was already in prison for drugs and weapons offenses when he was charged in the killings. A Los Angeles Superior Court jury deliberated about two days before deciding last month that Hogan and Campos were guilty of murder and attempted murder. Jurors also convicted Hogan of felony evasion of arrest and Campos of being a felon An individual who commits a crime of a serious nature, such as Burglary or murder. A person who commits a felony.

The victims' Ford Taurus sedan was making a turn at the intersection Aug. 6, 2003, when a second car pulled alongside and at least one person inside began shooting.

Hogan, a Palmdale construction worker, was chased down and arrested nine days after the slayings. He fled from sheriff's deputies first in a vehicle on city streets, then on foot in backyards.

Hogan has a prison record dating back to 1991 for crimes involving drugs, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.
