SANTA CLARITA Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Suspects James Stonecipher and Jonathan Peterman Pe´ter`man

Santa Clarita sheriff's deputies arrested Peterman after they found him with four juveniles on Isabella Parkway in Canyon Country about 5 a.m. on Aug. 11. The others were detained de·tain

The juveniles detained with Peterman were released to their parents with citations for curfew violations. City code requires anyone under 18 to be off the streets by 10 p.m. unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
